Xmas 2022 (Another Week Of Prep)

A very short post this week as the Xmas decorations for this year are in full swing. Sleep is something that I am seeing very little of, though if everything is completed it will definitely be worth it!

The train is making another appearance this year, this time with ultrasonic sensors fitted to the front/rear (similar to a car). After the many failings last year with the magnetic sensors I'm hoping switching to ultrasonics allows the train to calculate distance correctly (time will tell).

As a nice addition this year (other than some new decorations) there are also some animated reindeer which should move in time with the train (once I have written the code). All being well it should be a nice addition.

Normal service will resume once the decorations are live ;)
